Since I've updated to iOS 15.1.1 I'm getting an icon in the bottom right of many of my photos (tends to be more the ones taken with my 'proper' camera rather than iPhone camera). It's kind of a square with 3 lines of different lengths, any idea what it is and if I can get rid of it? If I click on it it adjusts the photo, and not in a good way. It's almost like it's trying to do HDR but all it's doing is crushing highlights.

That's for the new text recognition feature — it should highlight any text iOS has detected in the photo (while slightly dimming the rest of it) and allow you to select it for copy/paste/etc.

Ahh right thanks, it's obviously picking up on my watermark then. Is there any way to turn this off?

Turning off Live Text in Settings > General > Language & Region disables it entirely, not just in Photos but also Camera & Safari
