What is this noise when I bootup my MBP and how do I stop it?

I think it's the CD drive? In any case I don't think I know any other Macs that do this, their Macs just go to the signature bootup sound.

its the disc drive checking to see if there is a disc that needs red, i don't know how to disable it sorry

That's the disk drive checking if there is a disk in it. All macs with a superdrive make that sound when they boot. The only way to stop it is to unplug or remove it.
