Since last night, I've been seeing this weird icon in the top right of my iPhone near the battery charge status (circled in yellow below). A power cycle hasn't removed it. Does anyone know what it might be?

I have the default 2.0 firmware that came with my iPhone 3G out of the box.

Gah...thanks guys. I glanced through the manual but missed it.

Apple Tips...

Here's Apple's online tips & tricks:

http://www.apple.com/iphone/tips/

Open it with Safari on the iPhone, and you will be asked if you want to save it as a "Web Clip". This will give you an icon on your home screen of the iPod, so it's never more than a press of the home button and a tap (and maybe a flick or two...) away.

The icon is grey with 1,2 & 3 in a vertical line.

Very handy!

It's the Cthulhu symbol. The iPhone displays it when you're about to go insane, for your convenience.
