I upgraded to ios8 on my ipod touch and as I was browsing around through different menus I saw this in my icloud backup:

I didn't have this in ios7. Whats this about? Is it normal?
 
That is normal. Even if the Chinese keyboard has never been turned on, it does create a small settings file that gets backed up.
