What is Typing & Unseen toggles in sbsettings?

I have 2 toggles in my sbsettings that I'm not sure what they're. One is called: Typing and the toggle has 4 arrows pointing in different directions. The other is called: Unseen and the toggle looks like an eye. Thanks!
