Accounts with zero feedback keep leavings bids up to 15,000 on my laptop and ruining my auction.

What the hell is up with eBay these days? Its literally unusable.

1. They are troll accounts
2. They are scammers who would bid up to exorbitant amounts, then PM you to conduct shady business on PAyPal
3. They have the same items for sale, and want yours out of the market

I too have this issue with stuff I occasionally sell. eBay doesn't prohibit blocking people with zero feedback. Kinda makes sense, since they have to start somewhere, but it should be with Buy It Now items or something else. I don't want to deal with newbies or potential scammers.

I use Buy-it-Now, instant payment, no offers.
I've had almost zero problems, with hundreds of big ticket item sales

Ebay has gone from a tragic 'rip-off Grandma and Grampa, scammers heaven', to a rather safe market. It is, however, heavily biased towards buyers, which is a mixed bag.

Ok so eBay charges 10% fee to sell something for 2300 and PayPal charges 2.9%.......so I'm suppose to sell my maxed out 15" MBP for 2300 and net 2000?

YAH OK what a ****ing scam. Ebay can go **** themselves. How do they even still hold a ticker symbol is beyond me.

The final valuation fee is ridiculous ... and yeah ... then the PayPal nonsense. Not very fun to sell on there anymore.

Same with me in the past so I added rules that no one with 0 or worse feedback could even bid on mine. Good luck!
