I've had problems with "iChat agent" crashing consistently on both my iBook (600MHz G3) and my Mini (1.45GHz G4) ever since installing Tiger on each of them. I know this is a pervasive problem that lots of people have been having ever since Tiger came out -- is Apple ever going to fix this? Am I missing something?
I can always tell when it is crashed because it bogs down my machine something awful. Then I have to go into Activity Monitor (where it's shown in red as 'not responding') and force it to quit. What a pain!
I just started iChat and watched in Activity Monitor -- iChat agent crashed within about 10 seconds. If anyone knows how to improve this I'd really like to hear about it!
