Morning,

When I booted my Mac this morning, I was greeted with the following grey, white and black stripes while it booted.

And this blue screen with a white block where the cursor should be.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong? I won't get time to bring it to an Apple store today.

It freezes after that and after several boots nothing has changed. It's quite an old MBP at this stage (2006) so I guess it's a component failure - the graphics card or something has finally popped maybe.

Maybe it heard me talking about getting a new laptop recently :D

Yeah, I tried a few PRAM resets and it didn't improve anything.
