Every time I open a new thread it throws me to the back of the thread or if I open a thread with one page it scrolls down to the bottem. Its really starting to bug me... is there any settings I can changes to stop this from happening?

) to open new pages, perchance? Clicking this icon should take you to the first unread post in the thread. What is the URL that comes up when you open a new thread?
Yep. That'll take you to the most recent post in the thread. Click on the forum (such as MacRumors.com News Discussion) and then click on the thread titles from there instead.
