What is wakeups in console system reports?

I have alot of these reports in my new macbook on latest sierra.

Event: wakeups
Wakeups: 45472 wakeups over the last 181 seconds (251 wakeups per second average), exceeding limit of 150 wakeups per second over 300 seconds

And also have problems with the computer, could the app that cause this be the problem?
