Why is the moon phase black in colour? Geez.

Happened just recently. Nothing to do with NC Weather Widgets as I have tried to uninstall it.

It's supposed to be black, it's a new moon. Go outside and look up, you shouldn't see a moon out (black).

I often get the type of moon shown above though (not totally black).

Yes a black moon is supposed to show a new moon not full moon.
