I have been a customer of Xfinity/Comcast for a long time. Its not a company I love but one I need If I want to watch TV. I do not have the strength to be a cord cutter. Today they did something completely Obtuse. They removed Turner Classic Movies from my cable. The only ad free station I had for 40 years. I love the movies of the 30s-50s. They moved it to a sports tier which of course costs more. Why the sports tier. I am not a sports watcher. My only recourse to check out FIOS my guess it will be the same.

That would be cord cutting time for me. That's the only channel I care about. Otherwise it's Prime Video and Netflix for me. I used to like the documentary channels. But I can't stand commercials anymore now that I'm used to streaming. I could bear it when I had my own Tivo box with Comcast. The crappy, slow, unreliable controls of the AT&T box I use. Make skipping commercials too much of a PIA.
