As the thread title suggests, what is that "one song" that always has you and your partner turning and smiling at eachother whenever it's played? Maybe it's that song that came on your first date, or a song that has a lot of significance to your relationship. Or even the song you had your first dance to at your wedding.

Me and my girlfriend's songs are

"Kiss me through the phone" by Soulja Boy because we sometimes don't get to see eachother for a week or so but we talk on the phone every night before bed.

"When two are one" by Atreyu because as the name suggests, we a lot of the times feel like one person, in both our hopes and dreams. Also because of these lyrics:

"Like the rising tide
beating hearts grow but never die
to simplify I'll stand by your side
Close my eyes
Hope will never die"

Also that song led to my realizing that I was hopelessly in love with her.

What's you and your partner's "song?"

There's a track from some Final Fantasy game called Eyes on me which I think is our song. I dunno, never bothered with that with my current girlfriend.

With my last girlfriend it was Live Forever by Oasis.

My brother used to put on "Wish I Could Have Been There" by John Anderson and gaze into his beer... Same thing every Sunday evening. Ol' faithful. Man he loved that beer.

that count?

I told every girl that ever asked me what "our song" should be the same thing. Ugly Kid Joe - I Hate Everything About You. :D That way if/when the relationship ends I will be more than happy to sing it loud and proud. It stinks when a good song gets ruined because of a break up.

I DJ'd a party not too long ago and a girl came up and asked if she could request she and her husbands "song." Sure I said, what is it? Her reply, Puddle of Mud - She Hates Me. Great choice in my opinion. :)

"Question" by Old 97s.

Someday, somebody's gonna ask you
A question that you should say yes to
Once in your life
Baby, tonight I've got a question for you

I tortured her with it for a couple of years before I popped the question, while the song was playing. :)

Good tune, good band. Random but...that's also the song they used on Scrubs when Turk proposed to Carla ;)

Stolen - Dashboard Confessional

Inevitable - Anberlin

Here Without You - 3 Doors Down (we have a long distance relationship :()

In high school, first girlfriend, was "Hot Rod Hearts" by Robbie DuPree. I requested it on the local radio for my sweetheart Natalie Hardin. So so beautiful. She was like a young Kate Beckingsale.

With second high school girlfriend, it was "Keep on Loving You" by REO Speedwagon for Kristy Dole, another beautiful girl.

Neither are bands I am into, they are just songs that were there when special moments happened.

This "song" phenomenon was something I had with girlfriends, or potential girlfriends, during my high school years. College and work, later on, really had a dampening effect on me remembering songs. :)

My boyfriend and I have dedicated quite a number of songs to each other throughout our relationship. For example, he has dedicated Jesus Etc. by Wilco to me (REALLY good song...and I'm not being biased). ;) And I dedicated Halo by Beyonce to him. :)

hey Oh ( Snow ) - RHCP

My girlfriends and my song is "Hey Oh ( Snow )" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was the song that played throughout our "becoming" or "courting" or whatever you wanna call it.

Saving Grace by Pete Murray. He sent it to me when I was feeling down, and it's such a sweet song :p

Though our first date was to High School Musical 3 (neither of our ideas, we were dragged there by two of my friends) - no way would I consider any of those songs worthy :D
