Hey guys,

I just unboxed 16" M1 Max (writing from it) and I am surprised that the MacBook Pro has already 3 battery cycles and my warrantycovereage shows that warranty is valid to 22.10.22 and not to 25.10.22.

I am curious if it is really new or someone has it for testing. Last time I have bought new MacBook Pro from our local shop, I found out after few months later that MacBook Pro was activated half year before the purchase. So I do not want the same again.

How is it yours? Are 3 battery cycle okay? Does it mean that it was used for installing software?

Why mention this? You already told the warranty on your new machine is valid through October 22, 2022.

And don't by surprised by the battery. The computer was indeed testing during manufacturing, before they boxed it and shipped it to you.

Yes, but it should be valid to 25.10.
It looks like it was activated 3 days before, what is the reason why warranty is shorter..

The system probably hasn't been updated that associates that MBP with AppleCare. It usually takes a few days or maybe a week for it to reflect AppleCare.
