I have favorites - plural.

Three of them…

Favorite Apple laptop - 17" 1.0Ghz PowerBook G4, A1013

Favorite Apple desktop - PowerMac G4 Quicksilver

Favorite iPhone - iPhone 5

These are favorites because of design aesthetics and not because I think they are or were particularly good at what they could do, especially now. But the 17" PowerBook and the Quicksilver are what finally got me in to Apple. And the iPhone 5 was the first iPhone I actually wanted (and got at launch).

Note: The Quicksilver was/is all flash and no substance. You drop in a Sonnet 1.8Ghz Duet (dual processor CPU), a high end video card (and two more in my situation) and fill every PCI slot with cards and it becomes immediately apparent that the inside thermal design of this Mac is completely inadequate.

The MacBook Pro.

If you are asking for specific models, my favourite MacBook Pros ever are the 15" Aluminium PowerBook G4 and the 16" MacBook Pro with M1 Max.

The M4, the chip itself.

Or the Apple TV, don't ever upgrade it though. Somehow my Apple TV HD had auto update turned on, ever since tvOS 17 the UI has been a laggy mess. Plays shows file at least.

After that, the iPod nanos have always been my favorite "mobile" product. I can still fit my entire music library on the 16GB version, though not losslessly.

2019 Mac Pro - incredibly high quality product. So robust and it just chews through whatever work you throw at it without making a noise.

People who see my two are amazed at them, especially when I open them up. They cannot believe the case and how solid it is. The engineering and design inside them is top notch, really well thought out.

I also have an M2 MacBook Air 15” which is a good product. A good size screen, but compact enough not to feel like a brick.

Final one for me is the Apple Studio Display. I probably will end up going to two LG 6K displays for one computer and shifting the Apple 5K to the other Mac Pro.

I’d love the Apple XDR but not at AUD$9000.

The iPod is my favourite. Being able to take my entire music collection on holiday with me in a device the size of a cigarette packet was fantastic.
It is still fantastic, to my mind.

I still use mine, most days, especially when travelling, or, otherwise on the move, (or, for that matter, if I fancy listening to some music of my choice while lingering awhile in bed...)

This is VERY close to my list.

I admire the look of these but especially the feel of this Powerbook. Its impressive that so much got beautifully stuffed into such a thin form factor. Its keyboard was/is absolute joy to type on with huge palm rests, the varied i/o on it was super useful and the matte screen was big & awesome as well and all that was so darn thin. Such a beautiful machine. My current A1013 is in need of a new trackpad as its gone a bit squirel-ly, so will source and get repair that soon :)

Favorite Apple Tower- PowerMac G4 Quicksilver Dual 1Ghz
This was my first Powermac, so I am very attached to it. I have upgraded just about everything in this PM to give it what I want/need. I love working in one of these. The case design, easy direct access to literally everything and upgradeability was just perfect. This mac is on my office desk right now. To this day it is a useful Powermac for me.

Favorite iPhone - iPhone 5
I liked the size and form factor. It fits perfectly in my hand without being cramped. They are comically small compared to my current 17 pro max (love that camera though) haha but I really liked the small, elongated design. Just fits so perfectly in the pocket & hand ... and it has a headphone jack still :)

and I'll add

Favorite Apple imac - 24" White C2D 2.33Ghz A1200 - T7600
This was my first Intel imac and I am very partial to the big 24" matte screen and the bong of this particular model lol - it has a unique timber. Thermally these were a mess after a few years lol with heat related gpu failure (mine had this after year 5) but from a design pov, I really like this one. I enjoyed the white imac design language quite a bit and when they were able to take the rear end of the G4 lamp and get all of it up behind the screen and stretch that screen real estate from 20" of the G5 to 24", I was sold. i/o was solid with usb2 and FW 400/800 which I needed for my DAW and recording interface/gear (this served as the brain of my music recording rig at the time) and the big screen+AIO nature was perfect for that role. It served me very well for many years - so much so that when the GPU died, I ran it headless until I got my cMP1,1 - transferred over and packed it up until I could source an affordable replacement gpu which I ultimately did. It is currently in its box in my office closet, part of my modest mac collection.

One of the few "I wants" for my office :)
When I laid eyes on the late Mr Jobs slowly extracting that (very first) MBA from an A4 envelope, I must confess that it was the one and only time in my life that I (immediately and instantly) swore, stupefied, followed by an awestruck whisper of: "I want".

I found that for whatever reason, the A1013 prior to the one I have now, would sometimes start acting up with the keyboard and trackpad. The solution, was to shut the Mac off, pull the battery and then disconnect the trackpad/keyboard ribbon cable at the connector. Then I would wipe the contacts and make sure those were clean, put the cable back into the connector, replace the battery and restart. 9 times out of 10 it worked. The 10th time I usually had to do it more than once.

Before you go messing with a new trackpad, you might try this. Won't cost you anything but time.

I will give this a shot this weekend. I will hit the zif connector with some deoxit. Thanks for the tip!

My MacBook Pro 💻 and iPhone 15 Pro are my favourites.

I did have an iPad mini 1 as my first Apple product but never upgraded it out ever since and I prefer my Mac instead if I need a bigger screen, you can configure it with higher specs vs an iPad Pro and run professional apps like AutoCAD and Xcode on it. All I just used my iPad mini for was for the same things I use my iPhone for !

The iPhone is my favorite product line. My most favorite iPhone is the iPhone 4 as it introduced ground breaking features.
It was hard for me not to choose my white 4s as well - it was my first iphone. For me it really came down to the extended form factor of the 5. It still feels great in my hand today.

I agree with the iPad. While I have my MacBook Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, my iPad Pro 13 M4 is really my preferred device for leisure and the one I use are around the house. Sure both my iPhone and my Mac are more important, and could technically feel in the gap for the iPad, but the iPad is the one I enjoy using the most.
