What do y’all think about Duck Duck Go as your browser? Do they do the best in keeping our searches private?
Would I be better off running Safari with a DDG search engine?
Should I use Safari? is it designed for Mac?
And then there is Firefox too.
What say you?

I use Safari and Firefox, but I am looking for something better. I was gonna go with Arc but it was bought out and on the way out.

I use Google and ChatGPT for searching.

Safari for quite awhile, then I eventually added Vinegar, and Wipr, to try to get rid of the incessant ads (especially on EweTube), then they managed to bypass that too. I’m still using Safari (which, according to a video I just watched yesterday (macmost.com) it still did a really good job of blocking tracking, etc) compared to Google and Chrome.
I did download DuckDuckGo, and part of the package includes their “Duck Viewer”, which allows viewing of EweTube videos w/o the commercials, for MOST (not all) videos; I’m hesitant to even mention this as some money-grubber from YT will go, “Oh, we need to disable that one now, too!”
The DuckDuck always reports the number of tracking attempts that they’ve disabled in the last x days, but statistically it doesn’t make sense.
