Can you say with items you use with your iPad Air 11/13 M2 ?

I struggle to find a streamlined/best way to connect it to external screen, keyboard, sound card... and more.

Can you tell me what works. Thanks!

ME: iPad Air 13 - Decoded Slim Cover + IKEA Brëda Book/pcholder leaning 20 degrees + HP Displayport adapter.
Conclusion: It is best to have the iPad as an iPad in mirrored mode, using the whole screen as an iPad + 27 inch.

At the moment I just have the iPad and a case. I’m tempted to not get the Magic Keyboard and keep it as an iPad. I have a MacBook Air so I don’t need a MacBook replacement. It’s already big enough and I don’t want to weigh it down even more. I use the Magic Keyboard case on my 11 inch pro and that is ok, but I think I’ll keep this set up for a while.

Mine's an iPad so I... use it as an iPad.

It's in a Zugu case, if that helps!

Yes, that is helpful. I imagined it using it like an ipad, and then as an ipad for music with logic and soundcard, and now as ipad again.
I wonder if ipadOS 26 will change this.

You say that you use iPad and a Case, that is a helpful thing!

I have a problem with choosing the 13 inch version, but I decided now to drop the casing, as I use it only at home with a paperlike glass on top?

It’s mainly for propping it up when I’m watching videos but carrying it about the house is ok. It doesn’t weight that much. I work from home so don’t need to take it outside. It’s not as heavy as I thought it would be.
