Just curious...

what is the monthly ATT bill for 2 iPhones on a family plan with 1000 mins or more and unlimited texting?

1400 Minutes
2 iPhones
Unlimited Texting

$160-ish

Including 19% Fan discount.

Holy cow, I am getting ripped!
2 iphones, 2100 shared minutes. unlimited text, and data. We never even come close to using all the minutes!

1 non smart phone, that uses maybe 15 minutes a month in calls only,

and I am paying 250.00...

2 iPhones, 1 Motorola Q9h, 1400 minutes, 2 iPhone data plans, family texting; my bill is usually around $200/month.

2 iPhones, 1400 mins, unlmtd data plans for both, fees and all that crap comes to roughly $205.

2 iPhones, 700 mins family (unlimited att mobile to mobile), unlimited data for both, no text (use email), FAN discounts, TAX and so on...
Total $118.35 :p

3 iPhones Family Unlimited texting 3000 shared minutes
2 other non smartphones with one having unlimited media net.

usually $320 before taxes and charges. usually anywhere from 400-450 after.

wow they really vary quite a bit, anything under $130 a month for 2 iPhones seems fair... but up to $200+ is insane... what is a FAN discount?

Roughly $135/month for two lines on a FAN acct. We share 550 minutes and have 1500 SMS per line; MMS is extra (but I rarely use it).

That is the corporate discount. Mine is through Citibank.

We get 23% off. Sounds great but it only counts on the parts over 30.00. Of my 140.00 bill only one part (the 1st line) is over 30. Everything else is as ala-cart as possable. When I get the 4g my data will go to 30 and then be discounted as well.

Kinda pissed about the way att did that. Sprint gave us 22% off the entire bill, to bad they dont have the iPhone :(

Drop to a smaller plan, if you're careful for the first few months the rollover will keep you safe. Mine only has like 750 for 2 lines.

I'm paying about 160, for two lines, 1500 txt per line 1400 minutes

Sorry for double post, but I think you have to be in college right?

Not sure if they have a college discount.

If you or anyone else on your plan works for a big company they many have a FAN discount.

You have to prove it. I ended up sending my employee ID and a pay stub (with a LOT of numbers marked out)

about 130-140 I think. Two iPhone 3Gs with unlimited texts and FamilyTalk Nation 550 Rollover & Unlimited Night/Weekend & Unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile Minute

You Americans get ripped off by those networks.

If you want to annoy yourselves, check out European prices. Even 'rip-off UK' is much cheaper.

But now I understand why I saw so many iPod Touch in the US and why some people use iPhone headsets with them.

I get 18% off everything.

True, but we talk on the phone more, I think. When I was in Germany, no one ever talked on their phones because it was so incredibly expensive. Everyone just texted. That was five years ago, though, so things may have changed...

My 24% is off of EVERYTHING.. before taxes... that's weird the way yours is set up...

I do not have that many minutes and my plan is a regular plan from years before the iPhone.

I have 550 minutes for $59.99 (one of the non-iPhone plans which are much pricier). There is another iPhone on the account and we both have texting. My husband has the regular 200 text messages, while I have the 1500 text minutes.

Our bill every month is around $160.00. This includes:
-$59.99 plan
-$9.99 extra line fee
-2 $30 unlimited data plan
-$5.00 text message package
-$15.00 text message package

My point is that for what you are looking for and if you are not already a customer with an existing plan and/or discount, look to be spending more on it.

My boss said that he spends close to $100.00 a month and he is the only one on that account with unlimited data and a regular text message package.

By the way, how do you get unlimited family text and how much is it? I thought there was such a thing for regular phones but I can not find it anywhere.

4 iPhone 3Gs

2100 min.

unlimited texting

$362 per month. I really wish i could get a FAN discount... any suggestions?
