So I have searched around and it seems like many of the clear plastic cases are good, but they have a few negatives that scare people away

in this forum ive heard of

Power Support Crystal Jacket - thin, but heavily scratches bezel
Case-Mate Barely There - thin, but feels extremely cheap
Incipio NGP - Kind of difficult to push the button
Speck Candy Shell -i forgot what people said about this
incase snap - horrible fit

i understand there are no perfect cases
but anyways, what are your opinions on good clear cases?

i dont like film or invisible shields

For clear case, the Griffin Reveal is thin and does not scratch the phone. It is pretty thin (adds only 1.4 mm) and does cover the front side enough so that the silver trim shows, but when placed face down is protected by a plastic lip. Downsides are it does show scratches on the clear back (where the phone would have gotten them) and does have a slightly uncomfortable ridge where you would place you ear. It also has limited coverage of the bottom edge and the top edge has been known to pull away which can allow the introduction of dust and dirt. Some have placed a BSE on the outside of the clear case to help protect against scratches to the case. For a thin, clear case with some front edge protection it is very good and can be had on Amazon for less than half the retail price.

The Speck See Thru is a fantastic case. I have 2 (red and clear) and love almost everything about them. The one problem I have is that they are EXTREMELY difficult to remove. They make removing the CandyShell seem like a walk in the park. If you tend to get one case and stick with it for months on end, this may not be an issue for you. Unfortunately for me, I get bored after a few days and tend to rotate through cases, and when I tried to remove the See Thru for the first time, I hurt my thumbs. I was afraid I was going to break my phone; that's how much pressure I had to apply to get 1 corner to pop off of the front of the phone.

Other than that, it's a wonderful case. The darker colors (well, the red) tend to show scratches very quickly and, if they're above the Apple logo, for example, they really show. I used the clear one several days longer than the red and in similar situations, and have yet to see a readily noticeable scratch.

I love my Speck SeeThru (clear on white phone). As mentioned, it's a Bit#% to remove and you risk cracking it or pulling the rubber edge off if you take it off a lot.

My rubber edge actually separated yesterday :(. However, I emailed my order info to Speck and asked them what I should do. 30 minutes later, on a Sunday even, there was a shipping notification that a replacement was on its way! Great Service!!
