What keeps the new MBP closed?

Everyone I open or close my mac towards the front i hear a noise that sounds like a "clip" if I had to describe it. Is this normal? I know the old MBP had latches but I don't see anything on the new one and am trying to find out what the sound i am hearing is - no luck.

It is magnets in the lid and the case.
The only thing one should here is when lid and case make contact.

LOL you guys are funny - Yeah I was just hearing this click or clipping noise towards the front of the computer when I closed and opened and wanted to know what it was.
