What kind of 3G speeds are you getting?

I'm new to having 3G, so when I did a speed test (I believe the app is "Network Test"), I was amazed to see 2Mbps. That's a bloody 10x faster than my old 2G phone!

Anybody getting close to 3.5Mbps?

Average about 800 kbps here in Honolulu.

speedtest.net app gave me a max of 2.3mbps today! I was blown away!

The worst 3g speeds I got today was 315kbps, but this in a non populated area inbetween towns.

And yes driving down the freeway as a passenger I was going from 3g to edge to gprs about every 30 seconds, it was extremly frusterating, but I onyl go to napa from petaluma once every like 4 months!

The rest of the area where I go has "decent" 3g

Maybe 1.0-1.4 Mbps. Never used 3G before though so I dunno if that's average for my area or if it'll be faster on a non-iPhone launch day.
