I have had lot of issues with my newly purchased mbp and a rep in CS is offering me to purchase accessories worth around $200 as good-will gesture. Not sure what to get from there. Might sell this if I have no use for it. Let me know what you guys would get.

These are my mac accessories:
-case
-mouse
-external hard drive
-mouse pad

-accessory for existing apple product (smart cover)
-thunderbolt cable
-random cables
-An additional charger

I have no need for mouse or keyboard as I don't have externel display. I have ipad 3 but bought smartcover.

Any good cases and externel hard drives for the macbook pro?

If you don't mind the extra thickness, the silicone/plastic cases on the Apple Store seem to do a pretty good job of protecting your Macbook. There are also stick-on covers (kind of like screen protectors... but for the entire laptop) that add virtually no thickness and some of them even retain the matte brushed aluminum look, if you're looking to keep it standard.

I wish I had that kind of money to buy thunderbolt display. Would love to get one.

These are what I bought:

27in Cinema Display

Magic Mouse

Apple Wireless Keyboard

Incase Neoprene sleeve

Speck SeeThru Case

Time Capsule

With 200 bucks, it really depends on your need.
You said you dont need any mouse or keyboard.

So, with your configuration, do you need extra storage?
Yes? Well then buy a 2TB external drive or 2~4TB Time Capsule.

Do you want more monitor space?
Buy a 150 dollar LG 23in E2370V-BF monitor.

What are you need of?

If you dont need anything just save up your money.

He said no Time Capsule or Gift Card. Or else I would have bought one for my self.

I really have no need for anything right now. I thought I would rather buy it and sell it to cover some of the cost. What accessories have high resell value?

UPDATE:

I talked to the rep today and he said he'll offer me Time Capsule 2TB model. So I agreed to take that. Best Customer Service ever! Apple does really stand behind their products. Paying high prices for premium products is totally worth it IMO.
