what kind of dog is this? Terrier?

Looks like some kind of small terrier,or maybe one of those small Asian "temple dogs" . Not sure though,because if it's a puppy,it could as well be a black and white basset griffon. (Not the more well known basset hound)
It's funny you say Asian temple dog cause the pic is in Korea. It's definitely not a puppy. So does this breed have a name? Is Temple Dog a well know name? What kind of terrier would it be?
Yes,could be a shi-tzu,that's one of the "temple" breeds,other of those are Pekingese,Lhasa apso and similar.
As it's not a puppy,it's definitely not the basset griffon,those are larger as adult dogs.

Oops,sorry for my earlier stupidity,it's definitely not a shi-tzu,the dog in your picture is (after checking some breeds) definitely a grown Tibetan terrier.
Are you sure that's shi-txu? I seen both shi-tzu and Tibetan terriers,and that looks like Tibetan terrier or Tibetan terrier mix to me. And yes,as I been to several dog shows,in more than one European country,I have some experience of dogs.

Sorry. My first post I said shi-tzu and then when someone answered I went quickly on Google and searched for images of them. That is what came up.

A shih-tzu puppy looks like that,but not adult dog,the one in the handbag is too large for a puppy.
Mhmm,well,not really the kind of dogs I prefer. That thing would just get killed if trying to hunt down a wild boar.
