What kind of improvement should I expect with a replacement battery? (mid-2012 rMBP)

So I'm currently using a mid-2012 rMBP, and the battery life has degraded noticeably. I used to easily get 7 hours, but now I'm lucky if i get 3.

So, my question is, if I get Apple to replace the battery, would it go back to giving me 7 hours? If not, what kind of improvement would be more realistic?

Apple is completely back ordered on batteries for mid-2012 15" rMBPs and will likely replace your machine with a newer one for only the battery replacement price. This thread might be worth a read.
