I need a USB hub for my Macbook Pro.

Question: When using a hub I once had, whenever I plugged certain usb things into it, the computer would say that it isn't powered enough. When I plugged it into the computer though, it worked.

So what do I look for when looking for a USB Hub so that doesn't happen again..? Thanks!

I have the Belkin hub pictured, but, does not see IPOD

Hello,
I have the powered hub in the picture, and it does not see my ipod. Printers, scanners, etc...all show up, but, not the ipod. I plug the ipod into the computer, and the mac sees the ipod just fine then. Anyone else see this?

Which iPod? I had a 1st Gen Shuffle and a 2nd Gen Nano, and they (as well as the iPhone) charge & sync just fine through it.

Really dumb question, but you are plugging the hub power in, right?

ipod not recognized

I have the touch and a 30G color. And yes, the hub is powered...thanks!
