Last night we got quite some snow in my area, so I spent 1,5 hr shoveling it.

At the end of the workout I selected “Snow Sport” for the lack of better options.

Is that right, or would you have selected a different workout?

Moreover, would you consider vacuum-cleaning the house a “workout”? If so, which one would you select?

All 'Others" are the same since they are not based on anaerobic activities/algorithms. Apple has just given a selection of names for convenience.

well, if vacuum-cleaning gets your pulse up, why not? i wouldn‘t consider it a workout when it‘s below 100, though. just select „other“

A friend sets a outdoor walk when she walks her dog, she burns very few calories and does this 2-3 times a day for a bit over 15 minutes. She gets her 7 workout week badge very early each week but has really don’t nothing lol.

Walking is one of the healthiest activities a person can do.

As to the OP, I just use the "Other" workout option when I do heavy yard work, like raking leaves or shoveling.

True, when you walk and get your heart rate up.
