I already own an 2007 Macbook Pro, however, I am planning a more powerful machine. First off, my price range is 1000$-1500$. Now as far as what I need, I am a film-making major in college so I need something that can run final cut express or final cut pro with a fair amount of ease, but I also play WOW. So what would be my best bet?
Sub-question: Now, I am a little fuzzy on this, but I believe that final cut pro has a program that allows you to render files with connected macs is that correct or not? Because if that's true it would influence my decision as far as how powerful of a computer I would need to get to meet my video editing needs.
