I want to buy one, but I don't think I'll be using it much, so I don't want to spend much. I think the most I'd like to pay is around 600. The reason I don't think I'd use it much is because when I'm home I prefer to use a desktop computer, and I'm good with my iMac. The reason I want to buy one though is because I will be travelling to Mexico for 9 weeks this summer, and I'll need it for some work. I've made up my mind on an early 2011 MacBook Pro.

2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor
320 GB Hard Drive, 8x DVD/CD SuperDrive, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, Precision aluminum unibody
13.3 inch LED-backlit display, 1280-by-800 resolution
Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
High Speed Thunderbolt Port, FaceTime HD Camera, Mac OS X v10.7 Lion

How much would one with those specs cost if it were used?

Thank you very much! :D

Do you think that's a good price for it?

The lower end of that would a good price, 550 USD would be a great price. If it is dented to scratched in any way, that severely impacts buying price.

THank you. That really helps. :D

I'm being offered a MacBook with an upgraded hard drive. It has 750gb, and 8gb ram for 625. The MacBook Pro looks like it's in good condition. I'm just wondering how many battery cycles it has. The guy hasn't answered.
