What MacBook Pro should I upgrade to?

I have a Late 2011 MacBook Pro which has finally succumbed to the dreaded gpu issue. I’m tired of dealing with it and so it’s time to upgrade. My question is this, which model should I try to get? I’m looking at trying to stay under $1,200 and buying used. I was thinking a 2015 model, except I’m concerned because I currently have a 1TB SSD drive and most of the newer models have 512GB and aren’t easily replaced?
Recommendations?

Actually, replacing the SSD in a 2015 model is a bit easier than a 2011, just more expensive.
