What Macbookpro should I go. Proc/Ram

Hello,

Im looking to buy the new Macbookpro Retina 15" for school/daily use.
Im studying mechanical engineering, so I need programs like Autodesk Inventor and Autocad.
I also play some games like Football manager, Guildwars 2 on my pc now, but im looking for a Mac now. Im also playing other games, but not that high demanding ones, I have a Xbox360 for that

So my main question is, should the standard 15" MBP Retina do just fine, or is a upgrade to 16gb usefull.
And is 2,4 Ghz or is the 2,7 Ghz just better?

Any version of the retina is more than enough for what you need. Heck, even a low end a 15'' is enough.

I don't think CAD is update for retina.

I would go for 16gb RAM if you can afford it but 8gb is enough too.
