Texas, unfortunately.
Just wondering because I don't know weather I switched in 2004 or 2006. I bought a used iMac G3 in 2004, and used it as a main machine for maybe a month, until I couldn't take IE 5 and 32 MB of RAM any longer and had to go back to my PC. I bought used macs until 2006, when I got my first brand new mini for Christmas.

So, was I switcher in 2004 or 2006?

Technically I "switched" in 1984 aged 5 to an LC475 from an amstrad PCW which my father bought before I was born.

I am kinda like this too. Here was my flow:

Born
4: 16 bit IBM with rabbit reader
10: Quadra 650 (PPC upgrade at 14), I still play warcraft and AOE on this baby!
16: IBM aptiva 233 P2 Win 95/98
18: Gateway 5300 P3 lappy (With frickin ME!)
21: Dell P4 XP
23: 500 Tibook
......since then over 10 different macs, the mini being the only intel so far.

I would call it more of a hiatus. Quadra still works fine. The 3 PCs are sittin in the attic broken and scrapped. I just like computers, I don't really believe in loyalty to machines. If it works for you, great! I think I need a new PC, just in case.

i used a mac in 2003 for a movie editing project, but really didn't own one until after graduating college at the end of last year. so i switched six months ago (but i still use my pc).
