A week ago, i was going to get a MB, but now with the reorganization i'm not sure what to do....

I currently have a PBG4 1.67ghz and use it for some video and audio editing, and internet..

I'm not really sure what the differences in the graphics are from the entry level 15" MBP and the first and second models...Can someone explain what the upgraded graphics and graphic memory will do? What programs would you notice it more on etc...

thanks

2.66GHz model (middle 15") has dedicated GPU. If you're gaming or doing video editing etc it'll help a lot. 9400M is intergraded and isn't powerful. If you want to take some advantage of Snow Leopard and maybe do some gaming, 9600GT is a must

Or, you could go to an apple store or a best buy to see if you could get a uni first body MBP or a discount.

You may want to wait a little bit to see if people report problems on the newly refreshed models. You've waited a few years now, another month won't hurt.
