so i wonder what media player you use to play your music and videos..and to play WMV files??

i tried Divx..freezes ALOT
Quicktime...doesnt play MANY of formats and many of my videos
VLC..i have just installed it and it seems to work perfect..so we will see later..

what about you?!

Flip4Mac. It's a plugin that runs everything in QuickTime.

It's all I need.

Perian + Flip4Mac can handle just about anything I can throw at it. There have been one or two (possibly partially corrupt) files that I have had to use Videolan Client for.

Quicktime 7.2 with Full Screen and Perian for video and iTunes for Music, see [guide]Watching AVI Movies in Mac OS X[/guide] for more details.

Good Lord....the things you learn coming here.

I have been using VLC and the old, clunky windows media viewer. Now I can use QT instead and bypass those other programs.

I'll still use VLC to view my archived DVDs. Mac's DVD player is still clunky (hope it improves in Leopard), and the Flip4Mac Drive In Beta crashes my system every time I use it.
