hello, im interested in buying a midi keyboard to use with logic express for my macbook pro! but i am reading reviews on the keystation 49i and many say it does not work with leopard...

anyone have experience with this problem? or have suggestions for me in regards on what i should be looking for that would not be a problem with leopard????

Anything m-audio I belive.

They have some nice midi keyboards on Apple actually.

Also check out guitar center, most if not all are compatible with OSX.

I just bought an m-audio "uno" 1x1 midi interface for $29. It looks like a cable with a bump in the middle. It has USB on one end and midi in/out on the other.

Any keyboard that has midi in/out (the round plugs) will work with Leopard because leopard does not "see" the keyboard it only sees my m-audio "uno" interface.

Many keyboards now have USB interfaces. Some of these require drivers and some a class compliaant and work withj Leopard's built-in midi drivers.

thank you..i appreciate it, i will try this and let you know how it goes!!!
