Hi everyone,

As for replacement program for problematic Seagate 1TB HDD on 27" iMac, what is the model of new HDD apple will give? Is it a 1TB per platter drive? Does anyone know this? Thanks!
 
Mine was replaced a couple of days ago and upon checking in System Info for Serial-ATA it comes up as "APPLE HDD HUA722010CLA330"

Well, it seems to be a Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000...A true server-lever drive with MTBF 1,200,000 hrs = 136 years (7x24)....OMG

I am gonna replace my HDD even it hasn't failed yet...
