What model superdrive is in the 2.3ghz and 2.7ghz G5? Can someone go into system profiler an click on Hardware>ATA and see if its a Pioneer DVR-108 or a DVR-109? Thanks.

I don't think it's a 109 - I just added one to my G4 and it's listed as Unsupported in System Profiler (my old 105, which I installed myself, was Apple Supported/Shipped).
I think it is a DVR-109. Anyway, I flashed my firmware in my DVR-117D and made it a DVR-108, now I got a 16x superdrive with DL. HA. Talk about an easter egg. What other surprises lurk in the Fabulous G5?
