What Monitor Resolution to Avoid?

I have a 27" Viewsonic Elite with 2560x1440 native resolution, used with a Windows desktop with dedicated Radeon GPU via DisplayPort. It looks great.

If I were to switch my setup to an M1 Mac Mini, would my present monitor on-screen result be similar to Windows, or would the scaling mess things up a bit? I'd want to keep using the monitor's native 2560x1440.

You'll need to get a DisplayPort to USB-c cable or adaptor, but otherwise yes, your monitor should work well with your M1 Mac mini at 2560x1440.
