I'm looking to buy a monitor to plug my MacBook (late 2007) into. There are a few things I'd like, but I don't know if all these are possible:

- Full HD Resolution
- 16:9 aspect ratio
- LED backlit / good colour vibrancy (I think they're related?)
- 20" upwards (preferably around 24"-27")
- thin display
- HDMI / DVI input
- less than €300 / $400ish

I found the LG W2486L which looks like everything I want, but I was wondering if anyone else had any recommendations or suggestions? Or am I being unrealistic with those specs at that price?

Thanks very much!

I am very happy with this one:

Samsung SyncMaster T260HD

*full 1080p
*cable ready
*DVI/VGA/HDMI

I love the picture quality. IMHO, pixel quantity trumps small differences in pixel quality any day, not that I have ever heard anyone say anything seriously negative about this Samsung's picture.

I've had it plugged into my MacBook around six months now, and if I needed another large monitor, I wouldn't hesitate to get a second one. Great value and you might find it "on sale".
