What mouse works well with the M1 MacBook Air?

I've been looking for a mouse for my M1 MacBook Air that doesn't cause lag when using it. There seems to be a lag/stuttering issue with the M1's with using mice over Bluetooth.

What mouse is everyone using with their MacBook Air over Bluetooth with no issues?

I currently use a Logitech MX Master 3 but I have an M1 Mac mini and use the Unifying Receiver rather than Bluetooth. When I have used it over Bluetooth it’s been okay though.

Other than that I have used Apple’s own Magic accessories and they work really well - though the Magic Mouse in particular is flawed due to it’s inclusion of a charging port on the bottom of the device, rendering it unusable whilst charging. Still to counter that the battery life on the mouse is quite good so you seldom need to charge it anyway.
 
I tried several mouses with my MBA M1. None of them ran as smooth under macOS as it ran under Windows 10.
Actually i am using a Logitech MX Master 2 with a Surface Book 2 and my MBA M1.
It runs perfectly with my Surface Book 2 but i always have micro stuttering on my MBA, no matter what setup i choose in the Logi Options app.
Thats really annoying.
 
Magic mouse 2 here on M1 Air. It's been great, mostly. Currently on Monterey and scrolling can disappear and I have to disconnect and re-connect and its fine again for a while. Probably get fixed with a software update, I'm thinking.

I tried this (not yet under Monterey) but micro stuttering when scrolling in web pages did not disappear.
Scrolling with touchpad is much smoother.

I've never seen any sign of stuttering when scrolling with the magic mouse though I know many others have seen it.

Not with the Magic Mouse, but with Logitech MX Master 2.
I also tried a magic mouse. It worked flawless concerning the stuttering - just like a trackpad. But I could not live with that dynamic speed of the mouse pointer.

You mean it was slow moving across the screen?
You can change that :) Mine's fine now. I'll see if I can find the instruction I used.
 
Using the terminal enter
defaults read -g com.apple.mouse.scaling
which will show your current tracking speed (it will almost certainly be 3)

To change this use
defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling 5.0
which will set it to 5 - you can go to 7 as a maximum.
I set mine to 5 which was great for me.
You then need to restart the mac.

It's reversible.

Check the quality control when you first get it, but I use one with both a late-2015 iMac and an M1 MBA. I'm neither a power user nor a gamer, and they're not as smooth as my MBA's trackpad, but I've been happy with them. They hold up well to children knocking them off the table/desk onto the floor. And, you can use them while charging.
