Most Apple stores have security cables hooked up to their wireless mice and wireless keyboard's and wireless trackpad's but I'm wondering if those cables also double as power for all of them?

Or do the Apple employees seriously have to charge/change ALL the batteries for these peripherals?

The ones I've bothered opening up have Apple rechargeables in. So if that's true for all the mice and keyboards I guess Apple Store employees have a lot of battery changing to do. :p

The security cable is just that-a security cable. It doesn't power the mice. And besides, the keyboards don't have security cables on them...
