if i get a 3g and give my old iphone to a family member, will they get $20 a month or the new price of $30? apologies if this has already been asked or its another one of the things AT&T has yet to explain.

I talked with an AT&T rep today who confirmed what many sites were claiming. The hand-me-down will still be $20/month for data.
at&t gave a simple answer to a simple question regarding the iphone?

On the same plan?
I hope it'll be easy to 'migrate' an existing iPhone number to a 3G iPhone, THEN add the old iPhone as a new number on a family plan. That's what we're planning on doing.
Hopefully we don't have to pay $30 for data on the old iPhone just because it's an "all iPhone family plan".
