I switched over to Time Capsule and all N network? Also, how can you tell if you have the gigabyte cable or the regular cat 5 cable? thanks Brett

N naid macrumors regular Mar 13, 2008 114 0 Dec 16, 2008 #2 Activity Monitor, Network tab. Can't tell what the cable is without looking at it. However, running "ifconfig" from a terminal will tell you the current negotiated speed of your network interfaces.
