What RAM do i get for my iMac 21.5" late '09?

Hi,

My iMac already has 4GB of RAM in it, if i put more in to upgrade it to say 8gb RAM, would it make it faster?

If so where would i get it from [UK ONLY] and how much would it be [UK ONLY]
