What RAM would you get?

Basically I have a 24" C2D and only 1GB in it (512x2). I hear Corsair ram is excellent, anyone know much about Certified? Does it really make a difference? I'd like to spend the extra $70 bucks to get the 2GB single module so then later I can get a 1GB chip and max out my system to 3GB. If I get the 2GB module I'll have a total of 2.5GB if I get the cheaper 2GB (2x1GB sticks) then I'll have only 2GB.

Suggestions?

Hmmmm... not for this particular question, but i would suggest a more meaningful title than "what RAM would you get" to get the right people to look at this thread. I came in because I thought it was just a general question (I was going to chime in with my 2GB OWC RAM I got yesterday for $129 + tax + shipping for my 15" 2.16ghz Macbook C2D.)

I would get the Corsair, good brand and cheaper, and you don't need more than 2 GB RAM on that machine IMO.
