I currently rent an xfinity box and I noticed some minor issues (Lifx bulbs not responding properly, weird dropped signals sometimes, etc.).
It would make sense to get a decent box and stop renting from xfinity. Any recommendations? I live in a 1,200 sq ft. house with the box situated on one side of the house (next to my tv/xbox which will be connected via ethernet).
I don't stream video/movies (Im weird I know), but I do game 1-2 hours with some games being multiplayer. I don't have people over too often so having the power for multiple devices is not really needed (pretty much my phone, MacBook, and xbox are the primary users of the power).
