What settings should I use to export from Toast Titanium to iMovie?

I have a bunch of MTS files I need to convert so I can use them in iMovie. I tried a bunch of codecs with a lot of settings without any luck. Quicktime reads anything, but iMovie is such a pain.

Can anyone recommend me some settings that work?

BTW, my clips are HD and I want to keep that.
