My iPhone won't turn on, it is a weird problem. Power and Home won't do anything. iPhone only powers on when plugged into charger, it comes up with Apple logo for a minute then turns off, pressing home and power to get into DFU mode does nothing. I even tried four different cables, charged through wall plug.

I thought it would be a battery problem, so i bought a new battery and no i was wrong, it didn't fix my problem.

Whilst opening the iPhone, i lost the SIM release lever, so my SIM would get stuck if i put it in.:(

iPhone was bought from ebay a year ago, has no warranty. Apple store is too far from me, and i am located in UK. I checked the out of warranty service on Apple's site and they say they repair it for around £150:confused:

Also have a cousin in Birmingham who has a friend who works in Apple store and said that i had to pay only £60 to get my iPhone replaced but only if it wasn't opened. The question is how do Apple know if it's been opened?
