I have the oldest version of the MacBook (1.83 Ghz) and it is a little sluggish...I don't need to do any video editing or the like but Should I sell my MacBook and go for one of the new pros...or should I wait a couple years...?

Just get a new MacBook. Or if you do have the cash and don't mind the slightly larger size go for the MacBook Pro.

I don't think you need us to answer that question. ;)

I would seriously just do a clean install of leopard and keep what you got... the new MacBook's aren't an improvement enough to upgrade really.... Especially if your not doing anything too intense..

So buy some cool peripherals, dump some of the files you have been hording, and just install fresh.

And possibly get more RAM.
