what should I check before buying a used macbook?

Hello, I plan to buy a used macbook pro 2021, I tried to check it and I got this result (picture),
I wanted to know what means (Registration Status : Registred)
is there another platform where I can get more information on the mac through its serial number?

I believe that "registered" means the original owner has signed in with Apple and still has it listed as one of their devices.

I WOULD NOT buy any Mac that was like this.

Also, I would shut it down, power all the way off, then reboot, to see how it goes.
It should go all the way to the account login.
