Hi,
I've been using windows for 10 years now and I am thinking to switch to mac now.

here is what I want:
I want a fast machine with wide screen, I use photoshop and dreamweaver on daily bases, I edit & convert clips (between 3-20 minutes) and I want it to last 4 years at least.

my Budget : 1000$ to 1500$

I hate the computer that lag or freeze
I want everything to run smoothly with no wait

please advice me

Think an iMac would be your best choice. Best thing to do it to pop into an apple store. You will then be able to see what suits you best for your requirements.

If you need a dedicated graphics card, your only option in that price range is a 21.5" iMac. Period.

If you don't, I'd go with a 13" non-retina MacBook Pro. The iMac does provide more bang for buck, but you lack on ease of expansion and portability. If those aren't important to you, then by all means 21.5" iMac it is, and lucky for you, they're really nice this time.
